  • Member and Chair of the Advisory Committee, Bertram and Corella Bonner Foundation (Princeton, NJ): To help guide and monitor the Foundation’s FIPSE funded Civic Engagement Certificate Program. , 2003 - 2005
  • Member of the leadership team for a community-based learning and action iniative, the Jane Addams School for Democracy: Neighborhood residents, many of whom are recent immigrants, work with college students and professors on projects that they have designed and chosen together. , 1996 - present
